I’m a “Child of God”

My name is Kari

Hi Ms. Donna, my name is Kari….I was incarcerated at the county jail a couple times and I attended your class every week, you and the girls that come in definitely “planted the seed” as you would say. I really got a lot out of the classes which made me interested. I recently moved back home to Maryland because I wanted to get sober. I met back up with my best friend, who is now sober and has re-dedicated herself to God. She had a dream that she knew God wanted her to share with me. That sparked the conversation about the Lord that i had been wanting to have but was too timid to start myself. I was excited to tell you that i am learning how to walk with God and my journey started with your dedication to all of the girls in OCJ. Thank you, a million times for teaching the word and planting the seed. You’ve had more of an impact on my life then you’ll ever know. I know you were sometimes discouraged because you keep seeing the same faces in your class over and over again, but I want you to know that it took me four times to get the message. I want to encourage you to continue to share God’s word with the ladies at OCJ. Your obedience to God in sharing the Word has been a blessing to me. Thank you for everything you do. I am proof that God is working through you.

2-19-2013 – Ladies at CrossTalk – I want to thank you for being here for us women.  We need women like you in our lives.  We as women need someone and something to count on that helps change lives.  I LOVE ALL of you and keep up the good work, we will get results!  I’m a work in progress, I can feel it working on me.  Keep up the faith and prayers – you will succeed.  God’s plan is working.  Even if it’s going to take many of us women to keep falling I do promise one of us will stay above.  And that makes it all worth it!  ♥Love, Katie

May 20, 2013 – Hi, Just a short note to thank-you for all the wonderful notecards, scriptures, bookmarkers that you all have sent.  I really do appreciate them.  I share them with the other girls – some actually use the verses to study the bible as well as a marker. Again, all of us at Lowell thank you for all the considerate things you do for me (us). I like receiving your materials – they make my day.
